Choosing the Right footwear- Women and Health!
As they say - "prevention is better than cure", this is true when it comes to footwear as well as there are numerous foot problems high-heels can create when compared to flats.
Women are always fond of wearing high-heeled footwear as they think that it can make them look sexy and fashionable. Others choose high heels to gain height; but, all these don’t matter when you are afflicted with a leg sprain, ankle twist or fracture and unbearable back pain; and it is said that constant wearing can even affect your mental health (constrict blood vessels and nerve supply connected to the brain and impair function in some way)!
But, what GDS International has on offer is something contrary to all your views and opinions. Footwear plays an important role in a person's life. For this reason, there is a significant need for shoes to become both- healthier and more stylish. Therefore, the choice of the right footwear and special care can only do away with such footwear incidents from your life.

The company has revealed that this campaign is also aims to shift a large part of its marketing activity to lower cost digital channels.
Netmums Suggest Marketers to Focus on Mums through Mobile Devices
Latest reports say that 18% of mothers in the UK are more likely to own the latest smartphone than the average Briton. Netmums- the parenting website in the UK has urged the marketers/advertisers to focus their marketing activity on mobile devices where the target groups are mums. The survey reports are rather surprising and more compelling, and, here is the reason why this so. Mums use their mobile devices increasingly as a “virtual handbag” to help raise their families, especially children. Advertisers/Marketers like TC World Ltd. need to be part of this process through apps, interactive advertising and more through localised editorial content.
"Women and the Changing Buying Behaviour"
A social panel discussion was all about women of today. Women today are not the kind of women we have seen in yesteryears. They have changed a lot, especially in their buying behaviour. And, the digital channels have a great role in changing them to what they are today. They have influenced a woman's browsing and shopping experiences and in building communities of women. Even as their means for sharing product information grows, female consumers continue to seek out relevant reviews and simple ways to access them, finds a member who's also working for Web Technologies Inc.
Breast Implants and Anti-Ageing Stressed Under Medical Device Act 2011
It was recently that health directors in Malaysia have stressed the need to include cosmetic products and treatments such as facial fillers and breast implants to be registered under the Medical Device Authority. The Medical Device Act 2011 will help ensure the quality and safety of medical devices once it is enforced. When I heard of this news, I asked a friend, who's working with Appco Group Malaysia, why we need this Act for beauty treatments. She said the reasons for which the health directors stressing the need are that, all the companies dealing with medical devices will be licensed so that authorities can monitor the performance of medical devices in the market and take action once the Act is enforced.
The best places for moms to take a weekend vacationMoms do deserve a break once in a while and I am sure all will agree with me on that. You might be the ultimate mom showering your family with loads of care and affection but taking a weekend break along with other moms is indeed a great way to de-stress and unwind yourself. My friend, who is a proud mom of two kids, and who works with Appco Group Australia feels that Australia has some of the best places for Moms to spend a weekend. With spas, bars, world-class shopping and great sightseeing opportunities, Australia truly does deliver a lot. Melbourne, Sydney and Gold coast are among the best destinations a group of moms can choose to spend their weekend. With some of the world’s most popular beaches, Australia’s gold coast does score. There are a plenty of lifestyle retreats as well which gift you the opportunity to treat yourself in a luxurious accommodation which gift fantastic views. Swimming in the pool, relaxing in the spa and dining on organic meals are a few things moms can choose to do.
Child- Mother Relationship
A child’s development encompasses many aspects including the physical social, emotional and cognitive/mental. In order for children to develop in all aspects, they must be supported in all areas and the one person most often responsible for this encouragement is the mother. Mothers tend to be the primary caregiver in both traditional and single parent families and thus are with their children more than anyone else. When it comes to mother-child bond, both are generally said to bond in the first few hours after the birth. Bonding, or the development of trust between a mother and her child, begins from the moment the two are brought together. During this time mothers often breastfeed their children and hold them close, thus keeping the two in physical contact for the first precious hours and days of the infant’s life. This is the same principle to be followed by direct marketers vis-a-vis their customers. And, few direct marketing companies like Sirius Star Marketing follows this to the best of their ability.
...word has 'power' to transform your kid!"Comparison is a death knell to sibling harmony", well said by Elizabeth Fishel! Yes, though I am not sure, for how many would agree to/with it, but it is a fact, and we do not require a child psychologist to see through mind of a child! Why it is that - we compare people, and expect a lot from others, for this and that?! Let us go through few examples to get into the scene: "look - he has a car, but I do not have one"; "she is beautiful, but I am ugly"; "that kid is intelligent, but you are good for nothing", and we never stop comparing people, one to other! Similarly, we expect a lot from our kids, friends and co-workers; and, when something does not happen as we had expected it to be - it makes us feel bad, and "WE ARE UNHAPPY", at the end! Let us talk about words that were being used for 'comparisons' (above - yes, scroll up a wee bit!); see, these are plain WORDS - but please realize that these 'negative words' would never show good on a person (or say - would never make any good impact), who is being compared to, in the wrong manner. I came across some of wedding pictures from Gerard Tomko (a professional photographer), and it was like 'wow' - how these 'beautifully captured images' come together, and add value to an album; similarly - beautiful WORDS, when are joined together 'have' the power to 'beautify' (and transform) a human life...!

Getting your Baby Sleep Right
Getting your baby or toddler to sleep through the night can be one of the most difficult experiences of parenthood. Not only are poor sleep habits bad for the overall health of your baby, but a lack of proper sleep creates a repeating cycle of frustration and exhaustion that can worsen over time and extend its reach into all the parts of your family’s life. Well slept babies make happy ones and well slept parents make happy and better parents. It might surprise you how much sleep your baby requires. According to medical reports, babies younger than six months old, on average, need 14 hours of sleep in 24 hours. Babies 6-12 months need 13-14 and over a year old, 12-13. That is a lot of sleep! My friend -Annie is a mom to two kids (she also works with Appco Group), is in the opinion that adequate sleep helps your baby in many ways and inadequate sleep will lead to a multitude of problems.
Asada to Offer Mums- 'Products with Best Possible Prices'!Asda will ramp up its investment in price cuts after finding that is what matters most to its core customers- mums, a move that comes as the Walmart-owned supermarket reports a slowdown in sales. Asda claims that 500,000 customers a week check the cost of their shopping using the guarantee each week. I came to know of this report from a friend of me working with Flash Organisation Ltd.

Drinking Warm/Hot Water- Does it Have something to do with Your Health?
I used to drink water- but never bothered whether it is cold or hot. But earlier I liked more of cold (except tea or coffee), I must say. It bothered me to write this, because nowadays I drink only boiled warm water. I now drink only warm or hot water and I like it. A friend (working for Clover Advertising) spotted me always with a cup of boiled water, whenever she came to my office, and, she asked me- "are you mad to always drink hot water"? It didn't bother me much because I have always faced such kind of questions and teasing from my colleagues. For some I gave my reason and for some I simply ignored it with a smile.
Parents share Info with Children: Breast Cancer Genes-Study!
A new study has found that when parents get tested for breast cancer genes, many of them share their results with their children, even with those who are very young. As I read this report, I too felt that we must share such info with our children. The study also revealed that most parents think that their children are not distressed when they learn about the test results. I remember, a friend of me who's now working for Blackcode Advertising, had come across one such test and she doubted, whether she should share it with her children. Then it was I who told her to do it, as it will help her ease from the pressure of holding some secret within.
Eat right, for your mind and body!"My kid does not eat anything healthy, and I am worried about his health" - see, every mother has this complaint about their kids; and, I presume - your kids are nothing different; if your child is a picky eater and you are worried about it, you are not alone and we do understand your predicament! We all love good food (and, who does not?), and often try to go for the perfect blend of Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins, Minerals...TO STAY HEALTHY! One day, while on a flight to London, I met this gentleman from Oracle Advertising, who was up for a business conference; he was tall and looked fit; we talked at length about this and that – about food being served to us...and just everything two SMART men can talk about! (Laugh)
Thank you mother, I owe everything to you...!Not many children we see around are healthy, but why? Yes, it is like - if a mother is not healthy (or treated well, during pregnancy), the baby would never be healthy by any means! By the way, what is good health for you, ha? Health for some is 'physical', but my friends - it is something more than that; a person should be 'healthy by all means', i.e. physical, emotional/mental, and social health...! Why any woman has to be healthy? Well, for a healthy offspring, and a healthy generation...your woman must be healthy, today!
Pediatrics Warn US kids to Avoid Energy DrinksThe American Academy of Pediatrics warned that School Children in the US should steer clear of energy drinks, and go easy on the calorie-rich sports drinks. The academy's report is the latest attack in the battle to stop children consuming "empty calories" from sweet drinks in school vending machines. Although the drinks industry agreed to phase out sugar-rich sodas in 2006, this has been offset by a surge in the consumption of sports and energy drinks. It is a well known fact that caffeine and other stimulants in energy drinks raise blood pressure, cause insomnia and can be addictive. So a child's consumption of energy drinks can not be reasoned.
